Peter Acton was Managing Partner of the Boston Consulting Group’s Melbourne office and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and of the Australian Institute of Managers and Leaders. His book Poiesis: Manufacturing in Classical Athens was published by OUP in 2014. He is Founding President of Humanities21, a not-for-profit advocacy organisation committed to promoting the importance of the humanities in work and personal life.
I am delighted to be a member and hope to contribute to the organisation’s important work. I believe that a key objective of ART must be to get as many people as possible to understand the increasingly serious deficiencies in public accountability in Australia and to press for change.
